Is this the end of ScottTheTruckDriver
So I thought this was a good comment to respond to, and as promised I am sharing it here and on minds…
I hope you wont get p!ssed for some honesty... You came to youtube, not youtube to you, instead of focusing on the problems, try focusing on producing content, that everybody of your viewers benfit from. You will not gain anything by complaining about youtube. What happend with keto? What software do you use for editing videos and how? Why not getting back into trucking? How are the current work conditions there now? Maybe do a stream together with a guest or more? About politics, religion, food or whatever? Dont get me wrong, I understand ur frustration, but nothing will change complaining about it. People are ignorant, everybody has there own problems, so nobody rly cares about other ppl problems. Get your man-pants on and move on! =D”
I am not complaining about it, I am taking action. Also I am not the only one taking action. It is a business decision. You are right, I came to Youtube because I thought it was a good place to build a creative full time career. That just isn't the case any more, so I have to change gears. I was burned by Facebook thinking I could grow my photography business organically there. Word of mouth is the best way to grow that business and they took that away. YouTube is doing the same thing so it is not a safe bet to invest years of my life trying to grow a channel then on a whim have it all taken away (as bigger YouTubers than I am, some of whom never swear or get triggered, have lost everything). I still talk about nutrition, and will, but there are more aspects of health I am focused on, and have covered most topics. If new Keto info comes out I will cover it, but of my 3 years of video I sometimes find myself repeating the same shit. Not good and will only reach some people. Mental health is also a HUGE problem that many struggle with including myself, so I want to research and explore that going forward, shifting more towards improving ourselves, and living environments to improve mental health. People I am close with suffer greatly some of the same issues I have overcome. I will be producing content still, it will be more diverse, and not all be on youtube. Will increase YouTube's share of content when they get their head out of their ass. I know not everyone will follow me over. YouTube is now a hobby again. Moving my Business elsewhere. As for going back into trucking, fuck that shit. Not worth what they take from you, and that is ALL YOUR TIME. P.s. I'm not mad at you :-)
You can help me spend more time and resources, upgrade equipment, pay for overhead costs like website and editing software and filming equipment in an effort to grow a channel. If you enjoyed my content or it helped you and you want to say thanks by supporting the channel. This is the best place to do it.
