Time To Start Getting Away From This Desk
188.9 lbs 34.75 inches Full Keto 16 and 8 fasts
I have been at this desk too long. Was up last night working until 3:30 am on client pictures, posted a video before that and of course my daily blog. I have to work my part time job tonight as well, and had some last minute fixes to do today for the client shoot. The weather out is warm (for New York). So after I post this blog I plan on getting some video shooting practice done. Headed to Chittenango Falls to get some practice on my Steadicam and phone stabilizer to try to put together a video. Will use the footage in my next video as well. Won't get any content out today, but will probably shoot today. I want to improve my videos beyond talking head videos, which may slow content a little, but will provide better quality and more entertaining videos. I am also considering sprinkling in some vlog style stuff about my life here and there to show how I apply a lot of the things I talk about. However, first I want to nail down some shooting skills that I feel I have been lacking. So my gear is ready to go...
I haven't been depressed, however haven't been content either. I know my mood is pretty stable even with some minor downs and ups. That is part of the mood stability of keto, however I feel that if I get out and produce the content I enjoy in addition to the normal content and pictures I do that I will ultimately be more content and hence better at the content. As I wrap up this client I realized I have been TOO BUSY and not taking the time to experience or enjoy the freedom that leaving my corporate job as allowed me. So look for some changes in my filming style a bit in future videos. There will be more location shooting out in the world, better cinematography and content above and beyond my typical talking head videos. Some will be shot on DSLR some will be drone, or gopro. Some will be phone. It depends on the situation. I am pretty much training for taking the show on the road now so I can share the world from my ScottTheTruckDriver point of view... and shit.
I guess the point of this post is don't forget or neglect your passions for your Job or Small Business. There is a beautiful world out there that we will miss if we stay home and work all the time with only BAD news on tv and social media to keep us fearful, angry, stressed and triggered. Sometimes finding places in the world that don't suck can bring lasting contentment. I am going to try and present that in future content as well.
You can help me spend more time and resources, upgrade equipment, pay for overhead costs like website and editing software and filming equipment in an effort to grow a channel. If you enjoyed my content or it helped you and you want to say thanks by supporting the channel. This is the best place to do it.
