Alternate Day Diet Is Working Like A Champ! Weight Slowly Falling
187.0 lbs 35.25 inches Feast Day
My set point seems to be falling some on the alternate day diet (fat only on fast days) protocol. Once again keep in mind this protocol is for fat adapted people. I feel I cannot stress enough that fat is only healthy in the context of a ketogenic diet. If you are a carb burner fueled by glycogen, and you eat keto levels of fat, you can't use it and your health will suffer. You have to be a fat burner for fat to be healthy for you and it requires a 6 week ketogenic adaptation with no cheat days. On the subject of cheat days, the above video addresses that.
Seeing this progress I am going to do another week of the Alternate Day Diet with fat fasting to see if the numbers continue the downward trend. Doing this protocol I am NOT hungry at all. Having a small dose of fat seems to be enough to combat any grehlin spikes which lead to hunger. I still plan on doing a hybrid long fast of 10 days 5 fat fast/5 water fast next month, and may maintain this protocol until then to give it a bit of a longer period to to work.
As for the cramp issue, its resolved. No cramps this morning. I increased my water intake slightly and it went away, ironically that may have helped the weight drop as well. When you are under hydrated your body tends to hold onto the water it has. You should regularly have to piss if you are hydrated. If you haven't pissed in 3 or 4 hours, you are likely not drinking enough water. Don't overdo it, but if you are having symptoms, it is the first place to look and easiest to fix.
Today I am very busy, after I post this I have several errands to run and will be out all day, then tonight I have to work my part-time job at the bar. I still have another video in the pipeline that I will try to edit and post Friday (might get posted saturday). I am getting a little more efficient at making videos, don't want to overdo it, but I do know there are people who want me to post every day. That is the eventual goal, and I can tell you that thanks to the generosity of everyone, the channel is heading in that direction. I am limited with editing and upload bottleneck, but I am taking steps and reinvesting in the channel and equipment to make this better, also experimenting with different protocols.
